The 2009 Pacific Marine Credit Union Oside Turkey Trot helped more than 5,000 get their Thanksgiving Day started on the right foot. We thank you for your participation and invite you to put us on the calendar again for Thanksgiving Day 2010!

WHY ARE WE TROTTING?
According to a 2006 study by the California Department of Education, Oceanside Unified students had much lower fitness scores than students in surrounding districts, with about 37% of 9th Graders meeting the aerobic capacity requirement and about 16% of those students meeting all six state fitness standards. In addition, only 19% of the district’s 5th graders and 25% of 7th graders met all of the fitness standards. Click Here To View A Copy Of This Report.
