What's included in my registration?

All paid, registered participants will receive entrance to their race, a finisher shirt, timing, a medal, and free finish line photos. Children that are registered in the 10K, 5K or kids’ races also receive a shirt and medal.

Any children NOT registered in any of the races, aka riding along in the stroller, will not receive a finisher shirt or medal but are welcome to ride along and enjoy the course scenery.

Do you offer any discounts?

Because $5 of your entry can go towards one of our 96 charities, we currently don’t offer any discounts. As a reminder, your entry fee includes a tshirt, medal, timing, and free digital race photos.

Can kids run in the 5K?

Of course! Anyone can participate in the 5K, they just need to select the appropriate pricing on the registration page. Under 17 is a little cheaper than adults. If you have a really little one who is in a stroller, you don’t need to register them UNLESS you want a medal and shirt for them. In order to get a medal a the finish line, everyone has to have a bib.

I need to change my registration. How do I do that?

Participants can edit their registration online up until 7 days before the race. You will need your confirmation number to edit your register. To edit your registration, click here.

Where should we park event day?

We have several NEW lots on Myers street this year AND a free parking shuttle! Check out all the parking details on our parking page with detailed maps on where to park event day.

Where do I pick up my bib and shirt?

Beat the race day rush and pick up your materials in advance of the race! All registered participants will receive a bib, tshirt, and goodie bag. If you can’t make it to any of the Expo days, don’t fret; you’re welcome to send a friend or family member to Expo to pick up your race day necessities – as long as they come armed with a copy of everyone’s ID and waiver.

How do I edit my registration?

Inside your confirmation email is an EDIT registration link. Once we are within 7 days of the event, you cannot make any changes to your registration. If you need to change anything, such as birthday, gender, email, please come to the SOLUTIONS at the expo.

Can my friend or family member pick up my bib?

Yes, they just need to bring a copy of your signed waiver. The waiver is in your confirmation email but can also be found below.

Are strollers allowed?

Due to the size of our event, strollers are allowed under the following conditions:

  1. Running with strollers is only allowed in the 5M. You cannot walk with a stroller in the 5M.
  2. Running with strollers is NOT allowed in the 5K. Only walking with a stroller.
  3. Strollers in the 5K MUST line up in the final two waves. Anyone who is in an earlier corral will be called out by the announcer.

Are dogs allowed?

While we love our four-legged friends, due to the size of the event, dogs are not allowed. Please leave them at home race morning.

What if it rains?

Our event is rain or shine.

Do you offer any refunds? Can I transfer or defer?

Unfortunately, your registration is non-refundable. You do have three options:

  1. Defer your registration to the next year. There is a $5 fee. Read instructions on how to defer. This must be done 7 days prior to the event.
  2. You can cancel your registration (without a refund) and receive a 50% off discount code to be used for next year’s event. So while you don’t get any money back this year, we do give you a break on next year. This offer is only good for cancellations done 7 days prior to the event. Read instructions on how to cancel here.
  3. Transfer your registration to a friend for a $5.00 fee. This can be done by going here and entering in your confirmation code found in your registration email. You will select the Transfer option and enter in the name and email of the address of the person you wish to transfer your registration to. Once you click ‘Submit,’ your registration will be canceled from the system. You will not be refunded.The new registrant will receive an automated email from our system containing an invitation code that they can use to register via our hidden transfer class. The new registrant will fill out all of their information and will be responsible for the $5.00 transfer fee. You guys will need to work out any other payments between yourselves.Transfers can be done up until 11/21/19. 

Where can I train for this event?

Join our FREE turkey trot training group Tuesdays and Thursdays outside the Oceanside Public Library at 5:30 pm! We have runners of all fitness levels. Learn more on our training page.

Where are the water stations?

For the 10K, expect water at the following approximations:

1.75 miles,  2.5 mile and 4.9 miles.
For the 5K, expect water between 1.5 and 2 miles.

Do you offer a gear check/runners gear?

Yes, we do have runners gear check available in the Civic Center plaza on the East end of the fountains.
