Final Event Instructions

Please read below for final instructions on parking information, start times, t-shirt/bib packet pick up, late registration for your friends, etc. If you registered multiple people using the same email address, this will act as their final event email too.

Click here to find your bib number! (Updated daily. Your bib number will also be available for look up at the expo.)

NOTES: Pets are not allowed! Participants may run with a stroller in the 5 Mile, but must walk in the 5K. Strollers must start in the last few waves!



Wednesday, November 23

11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Pre-Race Expo & Bib Pick Up

Thursday, November 24

@Oceanside Civic Center Parking Garage, 500 Civic Center Drive.

6:00 – 10:00 AM – Registration & Bib Pick Up

  Register on site, or online up to 5 minutes before your race start!

@Oceanside Civic Center, 330 N. Coast Hwy.

6:45 AM – 5 Mile Run
8:05 AM – 5K Run (wave start*)
8:35 AM – 5K Walk
9:00 AM – Last wave of 5K walk

10:00 AM – Move Your Feet Before You Eat!® 1 Mile; 7-12 yrs. old and Seniors over 65

@Tyson Park
10:25 AM – Tiny Turkey Trot 1/5 Mile; 6yrs. & Under

7 am – 11:00 am – Finish Line Festival / Souvenirs / Photos & more

5K Runners/Walkers:
The 5K will have wave starts, please check your wave start time and be in the correct corral according to your estimated pace per mile time.



PRE RACE EXPO (Wednesday only)
Junior Seau Beach Community Center-  300 N. The Strand, Oceanside.


Kids & Seniors – Race day registration and last minute bib pick up for the kids races occurs at the Civic Center garage until 9:45 am, NOT at the amphitheater.

Finish Line

Oceanside Amphitheater (adjacent to Beach Community Center)


The 5 Mile course is fast and flat, starting at the Civic Center, winding through the Harbor and finishing along The Strand.   Water stations are available at approximately mile 1.5, 2.5, 3.5 and at the Finish Line.  Restrooms are located at mile 1.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5.

In addition, due to permit restrictions, the 5 Mile course has a one hour time limit, which means you will need to keep a 12 minute pace.

The 5K course is fast and flat, starting at the Civic Center and finishing along The Strand.   The water station is located just before Mile 2 and at the Finish Line.  Restrooms are located at mile 1.5, 2, 2.5 and several locations along The Strand.

THIS EVENT IS CHIP TIMED!  YOU MUST WEAR YOUR BIB TO BE TIMED. Please do not cross the start or finish line mats more than once or your time will be disqualified unless you have a combo bib for multiple races. Please confirm you name and age on your bib when you pick it up.

Sign up for and get results sent straight to your phone seconds after crossing the finish line. Results will be posted in the results tent in the amphitheater as they become available.



Stay & pick up your award! The top three age group winners receive a gift certificate from Dick’s Sporting Goods and a medal.

  • 8:30 a.m. The 5M age award ceremony will begin.
  • 10:05 a.m. The 5K age award ceremony will begin.

Run, Walk, or Trot in your favorite costume and participate in our contest at 9:45 am at the main stage in the amphitheater! The top 3 costumes, as voted on by crowd applause, will win a gift card to a local restaurant!

Runners are encouraged to leave items in their vehicles. Limited runners gear check will be available in the Civic Center plaza on the East end of the fountains. You will need your bib to check your gear. Please bring your own re-usable bag.  Please be sure to claim your items in a timely manner, as all gear left at the Civic Center after 10:30 am will be loaded onto the event truck and returned to the Kinane Event’s offices and donated with in 7 days.

After you cross the finish line, please continue walking north towards the Pier & Beach Community Center.

  • Finish line food will include fresh fruit from Frazier Farms and Dole snacks. The Expo will be on your right.
  • Straight ahead will be Photo area, Results (across from Beach Community Center) and T-shirt Pick up (in-front of Beach Community Center).
  • Souvenirs will be found at the south end of the amphitheater.

SOUVENIRS – Visors, Hats, Socks, and Hoodies.
O’side Turkey Trot souvenirs will be available for purchase at the Expo on Wednesday, and the Finish Line Expo on Thursday!  The race day souvenir booth is located at the south end of the amphitheater, across from the Information Booth.
